November 8-9, 2016 the Erasmus+ Information Day was held in Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry (TITLI).
More than 90 people representing 37 higher education institutions, various organisations and institutions of the country, international organisations working in the field of higher education, as well as the Embassies of the EU Member States in Tashkent took part in the Information Day.
Welcoming remarks were made by the Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Majid Karimov, Head of Cooperation Section of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Ovidiu Mic and Rector of Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry Professor Salohiddin Yunusov.
During the Information Day Ms. Piia Heinamaki, Regional Manager of Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) in Brussels (Belgium) delivered presentations on the possibilities of cooperation in the field of higher education.
