Welcoming remarks were made by the Rector of Tashkent State University of Economics Prof. Kongratbay Sharipov and Head of Press and Information Section of EU Delegation Mr Jussi Narvi. 

During the seminar on “Business in Uzbekistan for European companies” participants shared their experiences on EU-UZ collaboration opportunities over Silk Road, Business social responsibility: theory and practice of EU, business in Uzbekistan.

The main aim of the seminar is to demonstrate how European companies can enter the Uzbek market, terms for attraction and which benefits Uzbek market can obtain. 

The event is also attended by representatives of several Uzbek universities.
