Considering the effective impact of the Erasmus+ Week that had been initiated in September 2017, during 14-18 May 2018 the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan repeated the format involving double more HEIs and other country regions. The events were mainly targeted to individual participants and the priority was given to HEIs that not/ less represented in Erasmus+ programme. A serias of events: seminar, round table, workshop, meeting, radio-broadcast, radio quiz, on-line competition were organised in 8 HEIs in Tashkent and 3 HEIs in Nukus, as well as in EU Delegation to Uzbekistan. Furthermore, Erasmus alumni and students actively participated in the on-line competition “My Erasmus memories” by sharing their memories in form of motivating video clips and photo collections on our Facebook group. The winner was awarded with a certificate and Erasmus+ gifts, as well as all competition participants were invited to take part in the Annual International Credit Mobility Conference and submit their articles to the annual “International Credit Mobility” publication.
During the seminars/ workshops, cooperation opportunities for HEIs and individuals within Erasmus+ were presented in detail; practical recommendations on dos and don’ts while writing motivation and recommendation letters, and preparing successful application documents for EMJMDs were provided. Special attention was given to traineeship opportunities within ICM projects. Furthermore, Erasmus+ projects members and Erasmus Mundus alumni also shared with their experiences.
