Best practices of English teaching methodology for non-linguistic educational programmes

On January 15, 2016 the State University of World Languages of Uzbekistan hosted a Technical Seminar of Erasmus + on “Best practices of English teaching methodology for non-linguistic educational programmes and teachers”. About 80 people representing 39 universities, MHSSE, Republican Research and Practical Centre for the development of innovative methods in teaching foreign languages, as well as the National team of experts in the field of higher education participated in the seminar.

The Head of Department for the Coordination of Research Activities of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education Janpolat Kudaibergenov and the Rector of the State University of World Languages of Uzbekistan Prof. Shukhrat Kayumov opened the session with a welcoming speech. During the seminar, presentations on English language teaching methods for teachers of technical universities were made by Dr. Natalia Judith Laso Martin, national experts, as well as the coordinators of Tempus projects and other specialists in this field.
