Erasmus+ Networking Event
Erasmus+ Networking Seminar for International Relations Offices (IRO) of local Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) was organised by the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan, in close cooperation with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education (MHSSE) and the National Team of Higher Education Reform Experts (HEREs) in the Co-working centre of Tashkent Architecture and Building Institute on 2 July 2019.
The seminar was attended by around 30 people, including Vice-Rectors, heads and staff of IROs of HEIs from Tashkent and different country regions. During the seminar, the participants were briefed on Erasmus+ activities in Uzbekistan, provided with information on each direction of Erasmus+ open for the participation of Uzbekistan higher educational institutions: CBHE-Capacity Building in Higher Education, International Credit Mobility (ICM), EMJMDs - Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees, as well as Jean Monnet Activities, MSCA - Maria Sklodowska-Curie programme. Furthermore, the seminar participants discussed Erasmus+ opportunities by actions and acquainted with best practices of ICM project implementation in the example of the National University of Uzbekistan through the World- Café discussions.
Current networking seminar was essential to reinforce the capacity of the international relations departments in dissemination, promotion of Erasmus+ cooperation opportunities both for teams and individuals, as well as to strengthen specific support of IRO to different Erasmus+ actions.
