Grantholders meeting of new CBHE projects
A two-day meeting of Grantholders and project participants who received funding within the framework of the 4th Call on “Capacity Building in Higher Education” was held on January 28-29 in Brussels. During the coordination meeting, the participants were familiarized with the information on the results of project selection, effective project management, financial management and preparation of project reports.
Participants of the meeting were also able to discuss networking issues between projects and those participants with good background in project management shared their best practices and recommendations in working groups.
For the region of Central Asia, 14 new projects were selected for financing, including 7 projects with the participation of higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan.
12 universities of the republic will take part in 7 projects, including 6 universities from Tashkent and 6 universities from other 5 regions of the republic and Karakalpakstan, and 5 regional projects with the participation of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, as well as 2 interregional projects with the participation of universities of China, Israel and Kosovo will be implemented. The new projects include 29 universities from 18 European countries, as well as 43 universities from 7 Partner Countries.
